JT Kemp III began writing poetry at the age of 12 after tremendous praise and encouragement by his teachers. Kemp has continued writing for over 40 years adding music lyrics and prose to his repertoire. Eventually, he combined prose, music lyrics, and poetry in a new writing form he calls "prolyretry" - Kemp's goal in each prolyretry piece is to have the work "look like poetry, read like prose, and sound like music..."
