about the author...
Testimonial from a former Educator/Librarian:
JT Kemp's work is the breath of fresh air poetry fans have been anticipating. His use of rhythm and prose as he creates lyrical glimpses into our own souls is just what our students need to spark an interest in language arts. Kemp shows us all over again how creative we can be with our language. When you listen to JT Kemp III, you realize you're listening to the whole world.
-- E. Elizabeth Brown
JT Kemp III began writing poetry at the age of 12 after tremendous praise and encouragement by his teachers. Kemp has continued writing for over 40 years adding music lyrics and prose to his repertoire. Eventually, he combined prose, music lyrics, and poetry in a new writing form he calls "prolyretry" - Kemp's goal in each prolyretry piece is to have the work "look like poetry, read like prose, and sound like music..."
JT Kemp III is also the author of three other prolyretry books:
- infinite love - THE LEGEND OF RACHAEL AND JERAHN
- living lyrics - "our lives are living lyrics..."
- tripolar - JT Kemp III's complete works relating the experience of a bipolar life to a unipolar world, hence "tripolar"...
